Winter is coming! It's November and a lot of things happened within our Belgian Network! Time for an update!

Don't hesitate to contact the National Board and Coordinators if you have any questions via board@esnbelgium.org or belgium@esnbelgium.org (NC included)
WHAT HAPPENED WITHIN OUR NETWORK
NP LIEGE

Our first Big National Platform took place in Liège from the 14th until the 16th of October.

The National Platform is a meeting of all the sections of ESN in Belgium to exchange knowledge with other Belgian sections, learn more about what is going on on the National and International Level of the Network. On this NP we voted on the approval of Eurokot Namur as a Candidate Section in ESN. Congrats to Namur! We also established our Alumni Network. Laura De Vocht, Marie-Céline Falisse, Alexandra Cardeñosa and Oscar Lèclere are now part of this network to support ESN Belgium.

On Saturday evening we had some time for bonding and socialising during our Belgodinner and Orange Party!

BRUSSELS PLATFORM
Around 50 Brussels ESNers and some national and international guests participated on the 8th of November in the Local Platform of ESN Brussels United.

The sections shared best practices and Gaffar (Communication Manager of ESN international) and Matt (Vice-President of ESN international) were present to deliver some knowledge.

The aim was to strengthen the collaboration between the four sections of Brussels and to know each other even more.

WEP ANTWERP
Already in a few days Antwerp will host the WEP  (West European Platform) from 17th of November until the 20th of November! ESN Belgium is looking forward to come with a huge Belgian Delegation!

WHAT'S IN FOR OUR ERASMUS STUDENTS
HALLOWEEN IN AMSTERDAM
On the 28th of October around 700 international students from cities all over Belgium and Luxembourg came together for a weekend in Amsterdam during Halloween! You can now find the pictures on the Facebookpage of Erasmus Student Network Belgium

SOCIALERASMUS WEEK
One of the biggest events in the ESN calendar was happening this week: SocialErasmus Week!

All across Europe, ESN sections were organizing activities for a good cause. Also in Belgium the ESN sections organized different events: have a look!

EXCHANGEABILITY WEEK
Going to study abroad is a challenging time for young people In addition, it can be more even more difficult for students with disabilities who may face inaccessible environments or disability-related stereotypes. As recognition of such challenges, ESN developed the ExchangeAbility project to make our organisation accessible for students with disabilities, to help remove obstacles to participation in exchange and promote the opportunities available.

From the 28th of November until the 4th of December we will have the ExchangeAbility Week where sections will organise activities to raise awareness and promote accessibility. Spread the Pink Power!

Contact our National Coordinator Xavier Boonman (exchangeability@esnbelgium.org) for more information!
